Estimating your ring size:
If you are buying the ring as a gift, and don’t know the exact size, there are several guidelines that you can use
to estimate a ring size. The average size for a woman’s ring is 7. The average size for a man’s ring is 11.
A very petiite woman (under 100 lbs) would probably wear a size 5 ring. A man of about 140 lbs. with
slender hands would probably wear a size 7 or 8. A large man (over 220 lbs) with heavy fingers would probably
wear a size 13.
Keep in mind that these are just averages, and each person’s fingers have different characteristics.
For example, some people have larger knuckles that would require an extra size.
In any case, if you have to estimate the ring size and it turns out to be incorrect, you can always depend on
our Perfit Fit Guarantee, to receive a replacement size overnight at no charge.
How to measure your ring size:
You can measure your exact ring size using the information below. All you need is a ruler and a strip of paper
about 1/4-inch wide and 3 or 4 inches long. Wrap the paper strip around your ring finger (make sure you
leave room for the ring to pass over the knuckle). The easiest way to do this is to tape the leading edge of the
paper strip to your knuckle. Wrap the strip around, and mark it or fold it over at the spot where it meets the
leading edge. Now unwrap the strip and measure the distance to the mark with a ruler.
The exact measurement for each ring size is shown on the paper strips below.

Note: after you measure the strip, it is a good idea to cut it to the correct length and tape it together to make a paper "trial" ring. Try your paper ring on — if it is tight when it passes over the knuckle, you may want to
order a size larger (the paper can stretch slightly to pass the knuckle, but a platinum ring will not stretch).
Measuring the size of an existing ring:
If you have an existing ring that fits, but you don't know the size, you can make a print of the chart below.
Place your ring over the circles, and choose the size of the circle that best fits the inner edge of your
actual ring.
Note: to assure that you have an actual size print, use a ruler against the inch guide below. If it does not
measure 6 inches on your print, then the circles will not be accurate for sizing. Try re-printing the page at
a larger size (for example, 110%) until the inch guide below matches your ruler.
